Will homeowner's insurance pay to remove a fallen tree?

Usually, when a tree falls on a covered structure like your house, garage or fence. Trees that fall in the yard without hitting anything are often not covered. We provide photos and an itemized invoice your adjuster can use.

What should I do right after a tree falls on my house?

Get everyone out of the affected rooms and stay away from the tree. If any power line is involved, call Georgia Power or your electric co-op first. Then call or text us a photo and call your insurance company.

Can you remove a tree that's on a power line?

No tree company should touch a tree on an energized line. Call the utility first. Once they clear the line, we remove the tree.

When is the best time to trim trees in Georgia?

Late fall through winter, when most trees are dormant, is best for shaping and thinning. Dead, broken or hazardous limbs should come out any time of year.

Do you top trees?

No. Topping weakens trees and causes fast, weak regrowth that breaks in storms. We reduce and thin limbs at proper cuts instead.

How often should trees be trimmed?

Most mature yard trees need pruning every 3 to 5 years. Trees over roofs or driveways may need it more often.

What is forestry mulching?

A machine with a rotating drum grinds standing brush and small trees into mulch on the spot. It clears land without bulldozing topsoil, burning or hauling, and the mulch layer helps prevent erosion.

How much does land clearing cost per acre?

It depends on how dense the growth is, tree size, slope and how much you want cleared. Send a map pin and a few photos and we'll give you a per-acre or per-job price.

What happens to the debris?

It's ground into mulch and left on site, which protects the soil from erosion. There's nothing to haul or burn.

Do you grind stumps?

Yes. We grind stumps from our own tree removals and old stumps left by others. Text a photo to (678) 548-9540 for a quote.

What happens to the grindings?

They can be left as mulch to fill the hole or cleaned up. We'll talk through what you want when we quote.

Can you grind a stump near my house, fence or walkway?

Yes. We work carefully around structures, beds and hardscape and protect the surrounding lawn.

What makes tree removal more expensive?

A tree that leans over a house, is dead or storm-damaged, is very tall, or sits where a truck can't reach costs more because it has to be climbed and roped down in sections.

Is it cheaper to remove several trees at once?

Usually yes. Crew and equipment are already on site, so each added tree costs less than booking it alone.

Does the price include cleanup?

Our quotes include chipping and hauling brush and raking the yard. Log removal or stump grinding can be added; just ask.
